Welcome to First Presbyterian Church

    Welcome to the webpage of First Presbyterian Church, New Philadelphia, Ohio. We invite you to worship with us every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. (Starting Sun. June 1st we begin our summer hours...Seekers Sunday School will meet at 8:45 am; 10:00 am for worship and 11:00 am for Fellowship time. The nursery will be available during the summer). Our doors are always open.

    First Presbyterian Church of New Philadelphia was established in 1842.  It was commissioned by the Presbyterian General Assembly meeting in Pittsburgh, PA.  In the same year, the Ohio legislature named the church a not for profit religious society.  The Rev. Dr. Dick Greenwood serves as pastor of the church located at 217 E. High Avenue, New Philadelphia.  The congregation supports a strong mission ministry, locally and elsewhere in the world, and welcomes you to be part of our congregation.
