Music Ministries

The music ministries at First Presbyterian currently consist of three groups, listed below.  All groups sing or play a variety of music, from gospel to classical.  the musical groups are active from September through the following May, and take a summer recess.   Each group is open, and welcomes new members.  Come and make music to the Lord!

Chancel Choir

This adult group rehearses weekly on Wednesdays, at 7:15 p.m. in the church sanctuary.  The Chancel Choir sings in worship each Sunday through the choir season, and also sings for special services.  All voices are welcome, and auditions are not required!

Men's Chorus

An ensemble of men (changed voices) high school age and older.  This group meets on Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. for rehearsals in the Sanctuary.  They sing in worship about once a month.  All men are welcome!

Wagner Memorial  Handbell Choir

This intergenerational group welcomes interested folks of middle school age and older.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays, at 5:45 p.m.  The choir plays four octaves of Schulmerich Handbells and 3 octaves of Malmark

Chimes.   No previous ringing experience is required--we will teach you.  This group rings in worship about once monthly.
