Variety	Natural Characteristic of OHIO Apple
Summer	50% red color, flat shaped apple, does not store well.
McIntosh	40% red color, white flesh, flat shaped apple.
Jonathon	75% red color on light green background, may have slight russetting on stem.
Red Delic.	75% red color with a slight enlongated appearance.  A very sweet apple.
Gold Delic.	Pale green to light yellow apple with slight russetting or freckles.
Law Rome	80% red color with slight speckling on skin.  May show slight pink flesh.
Stayman	70% red color on rough skin surface. An excellent storage apple.
Empire	Similar to McIntosh but firmer with more red color on green background.
Melrose	50% red color on rough skinned green to yellow background color.
*Crispin	Large green apple with slightly blushed cheek.
*Criterion	Creamy yellow in appearance with a peach colored cheek.
*Fuji	Light green to burnt orange appearance.  Juicy apple which stores well.
*Gala	Similar to golden delicious in flavor with 50% red color with yellow background.
*Granny Smith	Pale green tart sweet apple with a red blushed cheek.
*Red Cort	Red, flat shaped apple with white flesh which remains white when sliced.
