What kind of trees are used for the logs?

We use white cedar or red pine, in both hand and machine peeled.

Can I make changes to the plans I've seen?

Yes, most of our homes are custom designed. The customer can furnish us their own sketch and we can even help you with your design.

What about insulation - is a log home cold?

The R value is comparable with that of a conventional home. Logs have a heat retention factor that enable them to store heat longer than conventional construction. They are a solid structure with no air pockets in between

How long does it take for the log package I order to be delivered?

We control the shipping, so normally we can have it as early as two weeks after the order is placed.

Do you have financing available?

Although we do not have financing directly from HHC,Inc..We do have some great lending companies that specialize in log homes.

Can Our log home be built in the winter?

Yes, we can do the construction work year-round.

What are the shipping charges?

We provide free shipping on our log packages whether it's weather tight shell or a turn key package.

Do you have a model home that we can view and tour?

Yes we do! It is open by appointment six days a week. Sundays and Holidays we are closed on.

Can you put a basement under a log home?

Yes, in fact the majority of log homes are built over basements and at least 50% do exposed basements for additional living space.

Are porches an added expense?

No, every Pariso Log Home comes with an 8 foot wide front porch that stretches from one end to the other.

Do you use log gables?

Yes, we use full log gables and log rafters on all loft style log homes.
