Fancy Girl
Fancy Girl is new to us. She arrived with us April 2nd, 1998 (Exactly a year after we got Chip). She's about 52 lbs. & probably the fastest. (Although Chippy, for not racing is pretty fast.)
La Femme greyhound is also just a member of the pack. She loves to smile, sniff around the garbage, jump on people (us) and beat up that "little beagle puppy called Maggie". Fancy is a kisser, like Quincy. While Quincy uses his 6' tongue, Fancy Girl gives little pecks. She has a large chunk missing out of her right ear. It's not really noticeable until both ears are up & sometimes, because of a lack of support it just kinda falls. Also, lil' Fancy girl is a smiler - if you've never seen a greyhound smile - you haven't lived.
When we got Fancy, she just fit right in. There was very little adjustment period. She started frolicking with Maggie, figured out her bed quarters, learned to maneuver the stairs, follow elimination times, etc... Couldn't ask for anything smoother. More on Fancy as we get to know her better.
