Senior
Center Membership
The
$15.00 annual membership fee is only requested
when signing up for the computer lab/classes,
use of the exercise equipment, use of the
walking track and non-funded Area Agency on
Aging exercise clasees such as Zumba and Yoga.
No
one will be denied participation in any activity
or meals if there is a financial hardship.
Please speak to the director, should you need
assistance.
Arts/Crafts
Card
Embroidery:
Tuesdays at 12:30. Instructor, Linda Miller
provides a sample of the card you will make
each week. Cost: $3.00, which includes materials
needed for your first card; additional packets
are available at a cost of $3.00.
Rubber
Stamping:
Saturday, March 6, 13 & 27 at 9:00. Instructor
Brenna Meese. Cost is $5.00 per class; students
are encouraged to pay for all three classes
at time of sign up. Class is limited on a
first come, first serve basis. Students will
learn new techniques using a variety of stamps,
embellishments and more. All materials are
provided for the class.
Bunny
Centerpiece: Tuesday, March 9 at 12:30,
you will have your choice of making one of
two spring crafts. Both samples are displayed
in activity office. We are making a bunny
centerpiece or a clay pot bunny. Cost is $3.00.
Class is limited to 8. Sign up at front desk.
Butterfly
Kleenex Holder: Friday, March 26 at 12:30,
join us to make a butterfly Kleenex holder.
Cost is $3.00. See the sample in activities
office.
Art/Painting
Classes: Tuesday mornings from 9:00 -
11:00. We are now offering a variety of painted
craft projects under the direction of Instructor,
Faith Williams. Some samples are available
in activity office. Cost is $3.00 per class.

COMPUTER
CLASSES: Digital Camera- Have a new camera
and not quite sure how to use it? Then this
class is for you. Learn the settings, flash
mode, how to save pictures and how to download
pictures to your computer or save on another
medium. March 2, 3, 4 (a total of 4.5 hours)

Writer's
Corner: Wednesdays, March 17 & April 21
at 10:00 a.m. Dotti Huff is our facilitator
for this group. Dottie prepares a group assignment
each month that gets our creative juices flowing.
Mark your calendar and invite a friend to
come with you. We gather in the craft room
on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00
a.m. We received a copy of the book Cold Outhouses
and Kerosene Lamps for our library. This book
was written by writers from and around Tuscarawas
County. We are looking forward to individuals
joining us who contributed to the book.

Fitness Exercise:
Classes 1,
2 & 3 all focus on increasing range of motion,
low-impact (easy on the joints) and flexibility.
Many exercises are done sitting in a chair.
The perfect class if you have some physical
limitations or just prefer low-impact to high-impact.
All classes will improve your overall fitness..they
are fun and you will see physical results
within weeks. No class fee..donations are
accepted.

several requests for an exercise program that
incorporates low impact aerobics with music
while in a chair. We listened! Join Linda
Miller, Instructor, as she leads you through
a good workout with the use of music while
sitting in a chair. Cost: $10.00 per month.
Matter
of Balance: Classes are in session from
March 9 - April 23. Class size is limited.
Practical strategies to reduce falls and to
increase strength and balance. Cost: $10.00
for 8-week program.

Take Off walking program: Mondays, Wednesdays
& Fridays, March 1 - April 23 at 10:00, Instructor,
Sally Warner will lead classes featuring nutrition,
guest speakers, learning how to eat healthier
by making better food choices. Cost: $20.00

p.m. Learn to alleviate stress while creating

Each player brings in 2 one-dollar items.
Each player wins 2 prizes plus a chance to
win the cover-all prize donated each month
by Beacon Point, Country Club, Country Lawn,
Schoenbrunn or Riverside Healthcare.
Bunco: Thursdays at 12:15. Cost is
$1.00.
(Payable day of game, prizes will be given.)
If you can roll dice you can play Bunco, this
is an old
pub game that only requires dice.
LCR
(DICE GAME): Fridays, March 26 & April
30 at 12:30. Join us for one of the newest
dice games. Easy to learn and guaranteed to
keep you laughing.
Mystery
Auction: Fridays, March 5 & April 9 at
10:30 a.m. Items purchased or donated are
placed in bags, each participant is given
$2.00 of fun money which they can bid on items,
once their "fun" money is spent, any winning
bids that are made, the participant pays out
of their own money. We have many items to
offer.
Wheel
of Fortune: Fridays, March 12 & April
30, 10:30 a.m. Similar to the TV show held
nightly, puzzles are put onto a board as players
guess letters to reveal the puzzle. Prizes
are given. Price Is Right: Friday, March 12
& Friday, April 30 at 10:30 a.m. Guess the
price and win the item.

Fellowship is a club for widowed, single or
divorced seniors.
They meet the third Tuesday of each month
at 4:00pm.
Programs vary from speakers, trips, support
focus groups, etc.

us each Thursday at 10:00 a.m. for Bible Study.
Our group continues to grow. Each week area
pastors share scriptures with us.

Joss, Bridge and Euchre. A county-wide Euchre
Tournament
is held the fourth Wednesday of each month
at noon.
